Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the American is an actor comedian, activist, and actress. Her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and started her acting career when she was a young girl, soon after her move to the United States. She gained notoriety for her roles in AT&T commercials on television as salesperson Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016 and , since then, until the year 2020. In addition to her commercial appearances, she was a series regular on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also starred in a recurring role as a character in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. Vayntrub is also the voice of Squirrel girl on Marvel Rising since 2018, after she was cast in the TV pilot that was never aired New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. She and her parents left antisemitism at the age of two. They moved to West Hollywood. She began performing in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five due in part to the family's financial troubles. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School, however, she quit in her sophomore year. She earned a GED and went to pursue the Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of California, San Diego. She was introduced to improv comedy through the Upright Citizens Brigade.
